July 2017
Dear Notre Dame College Prep Parent or Guardian:

The 2017-18 NDCP Class Resource List is posted here: http://ndcp13516.org/.

The required books, e-texts and other resources needed are listed by academic department and then by course. Using your student's schedule, please determine which books and e-texts your student will need for the coming school year. In most cases, you will be able to purchase directly from a retailer, iTunes, Amazon, etc. Retail offering links for all textbooks are embedded in the class resources list above.

In some cases you will purchase class materials directly through NDCP. Purchase links for these materials are also embedded in the resources list. Please follow the purchase procedures on the class resource list and then your student will be given these resource codes on the first day of school by his classroom instructor.

In a few other cases, all resources will be provided by the instructor in class and no purchases will be necessary. These instances will be listed on the resources site as well.

To summarize, there are three types of books and e-texts:

 Those purchased direct from a vendor like iTunes, Amazon, or other book/e-text dealer – in some cases the vendor will allow the customer to rent the book for the year which is a perfectly acceptable method to utilize the text;

 Those purchased through NDCP by making payment through the link provided on the resources list – resource codes will be distributed by instructors on the first day of classes;

 Those materials provided by instructor - no purchase required.

There are two important changes to the NDCP textbook process to keep in mind for the 2017-2018 school year:

 All students enrolled in any art classes must pay a $40.00 consumable resources fee. This payment should be made through the link provided on the resources list.

 If book and resource fees due to NDCP are not paid within 60 days of the start of the semester, fees will be automatically added to your FACTS tuition account.

If you have any questions or need any more information, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at mswanson@nddons.org or reach me at 847-779-8645. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
