Changes in the Alumni Association Staff
After many years in various positions, Skip Lawson is once again being called on to forge new roads for NDCP. Skip has agreed to take on the newly created role of Director of Business Sponsorships. Skip looks forward to "being Mr. Notre Dame all day, every day" and raising the profile of the school within the local business community.
If your business is interested in learning about all the benefits of being an NDCP Business Sponsor, call or email Skip (Skip@nddons.org 847-779-8618).
On December 1st, a new Alumni Relations Coordinator began working with the Alumni Board to strengthen the organization of our more than 12,000 Don Alumni.
Mary Beth Ficht is coming to NDCPAA with more than ten years of experience as the Program Manager for the Lane Tech Alumni Association. She has overseen exponential growth in their active membership and has helped their organization usher in the social media age. She has event planning experience a
and the administrative and organizational skills we need.
Mary Beth is a graduate of St. Scholastica High School and her two sons are Dons! She has a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in marketing, from Marquette University.
We are thrilled with her abilities and professional credentials. Our search committee began its task by identifying the characteristics which would lead us to the best candidate. Mary Beth was the most qualified and the most experienced candidate. Her work with the alumni association at Lane Tech, which was an all-male school for so many years, has prepared her well for this position.
Mary Beth is the professional who will bring the NDCPAA to its full potential! We are looking forward to great days ahead. When the opportunity presents itself, please welcome Mary Beth and congratulate Skip!
