Dons' Cheerleaders Dominate Wisconsin Dells Competition

The Notre Dame College Prep Cheerleading teams competed in Wisconsin Dells over the weekend of February 6-7 and did a great job. The Junior Varsity took first place while the Varsity took first place in the high school division, scored highest points out of the cheer division and were awarded Grand Champions (beating out school, all stars teams as well as dance competitors).

Cheerleaders' Mission

Our mission, as the Notre Dame College Prep cheerleading team, is to support our athletic teams with a positive and moral spirit. We will maintain an optimistic manner during practices, games and other functions, which help us grow together in a healthy and safe environment and reflect the values and traditions of Notre Dame High School.

The NDCP Cheer squad cheers during football and basketball seasons and competes in local, regional and national cheer competitions. Tryouts are held in late March/early April. Practice begins in May and continues 2-3 nights per week until March/April. Practices are held at NDCP until basketball season begins; they are then held off-site.

Eligibility Statement

Notre Dame College Prep Cheerleading program is open to any Chicago area girl who attends an all-girl Catholic High School and who is interested in cheering for the Dons of Notre Dame.
