Notre Dame College Prep Golf Program

The Notre Dame College Prep Golf Program is part of the ever competitive East Suburban Catholic Conference.  The Golf Program consists of two levels, varsity and frosh/soph.  All dual golf matches are played on a stroke play 9 hole format  taking the four low scores of 8 players for the team total.  All tournaments are played on a stroke play format taking the four low scores of 5 players for the team total, (exception Conference Tournament and all IHSA Tournaments play 6 individuals). 

Each team may play no more then 18 competitive dates during the season with the exception of the IHSA Tournaments.  Each conference win carries a weight value of one point which is carried over into the Conference Tournament and the final placing in the Conference Tournament determines the final team standings for the season. 

The varsity team consist of mainly juniors and seniors and no more then 12 players.   The Frosh/Soph team consist of freshmen and sophomores and no more the 12 players.  The team size can vary based on the number and the talent of the athletes that try out.
