Campus ministry exists, in the words of Bl. Basil Moreau, CSC, "to make God known, loved, and served" at Notre Dame College Prep. It accomplishes this mission by offering numerous opportunities for students to explore and deepen their faith by way of prayer, liturgies, retreats, and service.
Campus Ministry Team is the student leadership group responsible for all ministerial activities at Notre Dame College Prep. CMT meets during Community Period Week 2 and as needed for event preparation.
Every day at Notre Dame begins with prayer over the PA that is read and/or composed by members of the Prayer Corps, a subcommittee of Campus Ministry Team. The Prayer Corps also handles intake of any special prayer intentions or requests to be shared with the school.

Chapel and Liturgies
The Our Lady, Queen of the Universe Chapel is open all day for student and facility use. A group of students assists in maintaining the appearance and atmosphere of the Chapel. Every Sunday during the Football season, the Varsity and Sophomore teams celebrate Mass together in the Chapel before beginning their practice. A short Daily Mass is also celebrated here on Fridays during the Community Period, as well as other wide-ranging prayer experiences throughout the year.
The entire community comes together for monthly All-School Masses in the gymnasium or our outdoor Grotto. Students are expected to wear dress pants, dress shoes, long-sleeved button-down shirts and neck ties. The liturgies are collaboratively planned by a team of students in conjunction with faculty, and likewise the music for our celebrations is provided by a mixed group of talented students and staff.
Retreats
Retreats are special opportunities for students to temporarily step away from their studies and focus entirely on their faith. Students are required to attend a one-day class retreat for every year they are enrolled at Notre Dame College Prep. Additional retreat opportunities for underclassmen will be offered in the future.
Seniors and a select number of Juniors have the opportunity to attend Kairos, a four-day, overnight retreat held off-campus. Kairos is a long-standing tradition that many alumni have identified as the most important and formative experience of their time at NDCP.
Christian Service
A Notre Dame College Prep education forms young men into Dons of Faith, Scholarship, and Service. To that end, all students must perform at least fifteen hours of community service each year, though most students perform far more than this.
